The Ty-Coz: a journey into the Breton terroir

Make your way to the Ty-Coz restaurant at the Les Mouettes campsite, which showcases great produce from land and sea, “Made in Brittany”.

A place steeped in history

The Ty-Coz and its history go back well before the arrival of Yelloh! Village Les Mouettes. The restaurant was set up in an old farmhouse, built from granite and shale.

And today’s restaurant and crêpe house remain true to their past. The old stones have been incorporated into the restaurant’s decor, alongside natural materials and the fireplaces adding to the cosy atmosphere that reigns at the Ty-Coz. In fact, the restaurant’s decorative style is so admired that it has featured in a furniture catalogue!

Local produce for refined dishes

When it comes to its menu, the Ty-Coz willingly sources ingredients from all over and combines them with regional produce, which remains the restaurant’s staple. Take your pick from:

  • Seafood, straight from the fish market at Roscoff. Treat yourself to a seafood platter, crab with mayonnaise, the catch of the day or the salmon tartare with hints of ginger and coriander.
  • Dishes from the land, such as the filet mignon of Breton pork and its emulsioned cream, which combines the salty flavours of crayfish with the sweetness of coconut milk. Also served with potato marmalade and seasonal vegetables.
  • And of course, you can also opt for delicious Breton buckwheat pancakes and crepes. Choose between traditional recipes or more modern twists.
  • Last but not least, the Ty-Coz also offers a range of home-made burgers, popular among the region’s foodies!

Whatever you decide on, you’re sure to spend a lovely time with family or friends around some lovingly concocted dishes.
